Jamie Williams
Assistant Coach - 2nd Season
Coach Williams earned her associate degree of nursing from NIACC in 2002 and her bachelors of science in nursing in 2008 from the University of Iowa. Currently, she is a nursing supervisor at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa and is also a clinical instructor for the NIACC nursing department.
She graduated from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1995. She then decided to play at the collegiate level and was the setter on the volleyball team and left fielder on the softball team at Ellsworth Community College. She has coached 7th and 8th grade volleyball at Mason City and has volunteered for Northern Lights Volleyball.
Jamie and her husband, Jareese, live in Mason City with their son, Jareese Jr. and and daughter, Jada.
Dawn Eckenrod
Assistant Coach - 1st Season
A former NIACC athlete, Coach Eckenrod has been around the game of volleyball for over 30 years. She coached at Mason City High School as JV/Assistant Volleyball Coach from 1994-2010. Eckenrod was a volleyball official for 15 years prior to coaching.
Eckenrod played volleyball, basketball, and softball for the Trojans in the late 70's. Dawn and her husband Al live in Mason City with their children Megan (freshman at NIACC) and Cody (fresham at Mason City HS). Dawn has two grown children: Matt, who lives in Mason City, and Ryan, who lives in San Diego, CA, is married and has two children.
